The Caloocan City Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Inc. (CCFCCII) praised the leadership of Mayor Dale Gonzalo Malapitan for its progressive and people-oriented programs, in light of the recent Social Weather Stations (SWS) survey showing the strong trust and satisfaction of his constituents.
In the said SWS survey conducted from April 5 to April 10 this year, nine out of ten Caloocan citizens state that they are satisfied with the governance of both Mayor Along and District 1 Representative Cong. Oca Malapitan, while a majority of them also believe that the city is in the right direction, especially when it comes to improving the city’s economy and quality of life.
As per the results of the said survey, the SWS concluded that “Mayor Along and Congressman Oca Malapitan are the most trusted public servants in Caloocan today.”
Romeo Tan, president of the CCFCCI, commended the mayor’s brand of governance and pledged the chamber’s continued partnership with the city government.
“Kitang-kita naman po natin na sina Mayor Along at Cong. Oca ang mga pinagkakatiwalaang lingkod-bayan ngayon sa Lungsod ng Caloocan. We know that our city is in good hands and we assure you that we will continue to assist their administration in providing the best kind of service for everyone,” Tan stated.
Malapitan expressed his gratitude to all Batang Kankaloo and to the CCFCCI for putting their trust in his administration but likewise emphasized that the city government’s main goal is to find ways on how to best serve the public, regardless of awards and recognitions.
“Maraming-maraming salamat po sa lahat ng ating mga kababayan na patuloy na nagtitiwala sa kalidad ng ating pamumuno, pati na rin po sa CCFCCI dahil sa walang sawang pagtulong sa atin na matupad ang ating mga layunin para sa lahat ng mga Batang Kankaloo,” he said.
“Masaya po ako dahil patunay lang po ito na nararamdaman ng ating mga kababayan ang magagandang epekto ng ating mga programa, ngunit hindi rin po natin nakakalimutan na ang unang prayoridad natin ay pagsilbihan ang taong-bayan nang may aksyon at malasakit,” the local chief executive added.
