A significant celebration of the 23rd Bambino Grand Festival, with the theme “Bambino De Pasig, Bukal ng Patuloy na Umaagos na Pag-asa ng mga Pasigueño na Namamanata sa Kanya” took place in the City of Pasig on Jan. 21, 2024.
The highlight of the said celebration is the Bambino Grand Parade, which features floats carrying various images of the Holy Infant Jesus. Aside from the floats, devotees also carry their respective images of Sto. Niño. Their faces show the joy of being able to celebrate this festival again.
In addition, the Bambino de Pasig, which is the symbol of the Bambino Festival, was once again seen. It is believed that this image symbolizes the importance of the Holy Child Jesus in the lives of Pasigueños.
Present at the Bambino Grand Parade are Pasig City Government officials, barangays, and organizations from the church. At the end of the parade, the floats and devotees passed in front of the Immaculate Conception Cathedral where the blessing of the Holy Water took place.
In continuation of the Feast of Señor Sto. Niño, the public is invited to view the Bambino Exhibit featuring various images of Sto. Niño. It will start from Jan. 29 to Feb. 11, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 08:00 p.m. at 2/F SM City East Ortigas.
