The MacroAsia Group said Monday its net income rose 62.5 percent in the third quarter, boosted by its food services and ground-handling businesses.
The company said net profit amounted to P364 million from July to September, higher than P224 million in the same period last year.
The nine-month net income reached P746 million, or 172 percent higher than last year’s P274 million.
Revenues reached P5.7 billon in the first nine months, up from P3.2 billion a year ago.
The company’s airline and non-airline food revenues grew 101 percent to P2.9 billion from P1.5 billion last year. The group saw a 69-percent volume growth in meal sales to 17 million this year from 10 million last year.
Ground-handling and aviation services had nine-month revenues of P2.3 billion, up from P1.3 billion in 2022.
