In commemoration of International Day of Rural Women, members of the militant group Gabriela link up with like-minded individuals, notably elements of the Amihan National Federation of Peasant Women, in staging a protest rally at the historic Mendiola Street near Malacanang Palace in a shared struggle for rice sufficiency at affordable prices through reforms in the government’s agricultural policies.
