To intensify support for young parents, the Commission on Population Development (CPD) XII and the Koronadal local government unit signed a partnership agreement last September 29 at the KCC Convention Center to begin the Pagkalinga Program.
The program aims to protect young parents and their children against discrimination and abuse by providing them with monthly financial assistance that they can use for their children. Attached to this are conditions they must follow to continue receiving aid–including keeping their children healthy and educating them.
