AC Motors opens biggest BYD dealership in Quezon City

AC Motors, in partnership with Solar Transport and Automotive Resources, inaugurated on Friday the BYD Quezon Avenue dealership, its biggest in the country.

The facility is the largest to date and the first dealership to open under the stewardship of AC Motors, the automotive arm of the Ayala Group of Companies.

BYD appointed AC Motors as its official distributor in the Philippines through subsidiary Mobility Access Philippines Ventures Inc.

“BYD’s presence in the country was already formidable. Thus, we look forward to scaling even bigger heights and bringing the brand closer to even more Filipinos. Building your dreams has never been more attainable, and exciting,” said  MAPVI president Toti Zara.

The 4,000-square meter BYD Quezon Avenue flagship showroom showcases BYD’s pure electric vehicle line-up, including the BYD Dolphin , BYD Han and BYD Tang.

The state-of-the-art facility also features an elevated customer lounge experience and dedicated new-car release area and embodies a look and feel meant to communicate sustainable transport through a mix of green and contemporary design.

The new dealership — together with Solar Transport’s original facility, BYD Makati — are the first of at least 12 BYD dealerships planned to rise in key locations nationwide over the next 12 months.

“The BYD Quezon Avenue flagship dealership is a testament to the strong partnership of AC Motors and Solar Transport, and our commitment to our valued customers to provide service that they can rely on,” said Solar Transport & Automotive Resources Corp. president and CEO Mark Andrew Tieng.

BYD is the global leader in new energy vehicles and is recognized for its build quality and world-class technologies.

The brand has been present in the Philippines since 2013 through Solar Transport. BYD’s Philippine footprint is poised to grow even further as AC Motors and the broader Ayala Group strive to accelerate the adoption of EVs across the country.
