Renowned global apparel retailer, Uniqlo, today unveiled the ninth issue of LifeWear magazine, which latest edition highlights the much-anticipated release of the Fall/Winter 2023 collection.
LifeWear magazine, a complimentary publication, embodies Uniqlo’s core philosophy of enhancing the comfort and quality of people’s daily lives.
The upcoming Issue 09, themed “Modern Layering” for the Fall/Winter season, delves into the art of combining garments in layers, unlocking a world of boundless fashion possibilities through the skillful coordination of essential pieces.
Takahiro Kinoshita, Executive Vice President and Creative Director of the Fast Retailing Group, shared his insights: “While every Uniqlo garment boasts a profoundly simple design, adaptable for anyone’s wear, the real magic emerges when these pieces are interwoven. The potential of these garments is truly inexhaustible when fused creatively.”
Kinoshita further emphasized that while clothing may not possess intrinsic character, it holds the power to amplify the individuality of the wearer. This highlights the significant influence of how we choose to dress.
In the upcoming LifeWear edition, there is a notable focus on elevating layering to an artistic form. The magazine showcases sophisticated interplays of color, specifically highlighting the prevailing shades of gray and navy for the current season.
Alongside this, practical layering methods take the spotlight, making use of the long-standing 20-year-old HEATTECH technology and the enduringly popular Ultra Light Down. This edition instills a sense of anticipation for the cooler weather, which provides the perfect backdrop to indulge in the artistry of layering.
