KPop boy group The Boyz made various ‘pinoy moments’ during their visit to the Philippines and for their second world tour: Zeneration in Manila at the Araneta Coliseum on July 15.
Filipino fans were engaged and amused by the members’ off-stage interactions with deobis in Manila and Siargao, where they filmed content for their upcoming second studio album, Phantasy.
The Boyz stayed in the country for several days, and these are some of their viral moments that are ‘certified pinoy’.
‘Raining in Manila’
Members Sunwoo and Eric’s shenanigans in Manila have been a hit with their fans ever since they were spotted trying to cross the street and avoiding getting drenched like locals.
“Jusko sunwoo maka roll sa pants parang hanggang tuhod ang baha 🤣,” a netizen replied.
“The full Filipino experience I’m cryingggg,” a deobi added.
‘Grocery Run’
Chanhee showed off his Pinoy side with a photo of him in a grocery store, with different Filipino snacks in the background.
‘Poging kasabay sa tricycle’
Another Chanhee entry to the list, as he uploaded a video of himself riding the iconic Filipino tricycle.
“Kung si chanhee lang din ang kasabay ko, hindi na lang ako bababa,” a deobi replied.
‘Beauties in Siargao’
Just like Siargao’s clear and refreshing waters, members Eric, Q, Sunwoo, Jacob and Hankyeon radiated an enchanted vibe as they uploaded photos of themselves enjoying the island.
The Boyz is set to release a new album in August, and the concept photos for the album feature the breathtaking beauty of Siargao Island in the Philippines.
