The huge rock is from Mayon Volcano, collected from the Daraga in Albay. The boulder is an igneous type of rock called andesite. Andesites are fine-grained rocks that are usually light or dark grey in color and are commonly formed by stratovolcanoes (conical volcanoes composed of layered hardened lava) like Mayon.
