Along with its investment in the aftersales and technical training of its dealerships, Jetour Auto Philippines, Inc. (JAPI) introduces an innovative six-year Preventive Maintenance Service payment schedule designed to be light on its customers’ budgets. This PMS schedule goes hand-in-hand with JETOUR’s TRAVEL+ philosophy which aims to ensure JETOUR owners create lasting memories with their drives and journeys.
The aftersales experience, including PMS, is essential to the car ownership experience. This is why JETOUR Auto Philippines has mapped out a comprehensive expenditure chart covering the first six years of owning a JETOUR crossover. Through this PMS plan, JETOUR owners and future customers will be able to prepare in advance for the servicing needs of their cars.
JETOUR Pre-planned maintenance
JETOUR vehicles are easy to maintain as they require only twice-a-year Periodic Maintenance Servicing divided into 5,000-kilometer intervals to ensure long-term reliability and optimum performance.
The first year of JETOUR ownership shows two servicing schedules at 5,000 and 10,000 kilometers. A quick oil change is done at each service interval.
JETOUR Auto Philippines’ trained technicians will inspect various car components at the 10,000-km interval to ensure they are all in optimum working condition. The two service visits in year one will only cost an owner around P8,000 plus.
At the 20,000-kilometer interval, PMS will include the replacement of spark plugs, the cabin filter, Automatic Transmission Fluid, coolant, and other fluids. A JETOUR owner will spend a little over P15,000 in year two for the 15,000 and 20,000-km service intervals.
In the third year of ownership, or as the vehicle reaches 25,000 and 30,000-kilometer driving distance, the JETOUR owner will spend in the range of ₱8,000 for oil changes and PMS.
In year four, or at the 35,000 and 40,000-km service marks, a JETOUR owner will budget around ₱18,000 plus. This amount covers the oil change costs and the serpentine belt replacement. This essential component ensures the engine’s various accessories and ancillaries work in sync with the combustion process.
In year five, it is back to an ₱8,000 budget range for both oil changes and PMS done at the 45,000 and the 50,000-km service intervals.
Finally, in the sixth year of ownership, along with the oil changes, comes the replacement of the spark plugs and cabin filter and the replacement of the ATF and various fluids at the 60,000-km interval.
Over the first six-year period of ownership, JETOUR customers will spend approximately ₱22,000 on oil changes and around ₱38,000 on PMS parts inspection and replacement. That comes to about ₱75,000 or so per year or a little over ₱1,000 a month.*
While the cost of parts and labor may vary slightly over the years of ownership, the general price range of these PMS schedules will serve as a guide for customers so that they may plan their budgets ahead of time.
*Consumables such as brake pads are not included in the computation as these depend on the vehicle’s actual usage, driving habits, and the prevailing driving conditions the vehicle operates in.
JETOUR Auto Philippines hopes that by making its PMS costing plan transparent, current and future customers will be guided accordingly with their vehicles’ servicing requirements. Doing so ensures longer, hassle-free journeys ahead with JETOUR.
