DragonFi launches mobile stock trading platform

DragonFi Securities Inc., the brokerage firm owned by btycoons Tony Tan Caktiong and Edgar Sia II, on Monday launched its mobile stock trading platform which is expected to handle P100 billion transactions in 24 months.

DragonFi co-founder and chief executive Jon Carlo Lim said in a statement the online trading platform offers the same cutting-edge technology as some of the largest brokerages in the United States, which makes it purpose-built for the most demanding financial markets.

“With our technology-driven approach, we believe that we can expand the investor base and help us achieve a value turnover of P100 billion coursed through DragonFi within our first 24 months of operation,” Lim said.

DragonFi’s mobile trading platform also offers a modern and responsive mobile app, allowing investors to transition seamlessly from web to mobile.

The app’s watchlists are synced across devices and its intuitive interface enables fast order entry. Facial recognition and biometrics authentication are also available for secure and convenient log-ins.

DragonFi said aside from its flagship online trading platform,it also plans to develop a pipeline of innovative products that it aimed to introduce in the next two years.

“Our core back-end infrastructure will act as a springboard that will help us introduce innovations in the investment space. We are open to partnering with established companies and startups alike to offer more diversified investment opportunities to Filipinos,” DragonFi chief technology offer Cathryn Lao said.

DragonFi said it is offering reliable, scalable and technologically-sophisticated platform that not only provides investors access to the equity market, but also equips them with tools that inform their investment decisions.

Users can easily open and fund their DragonFi account in as little as 30 mins.

Investors may now open their account and start trading at DragonFi.ph with a minimum deposit requirement of P25,000.

DragonFi Mobile is also available for download at Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
