The sport of basketball highlights another face-to-face session of the Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum this Tuesday at the ground floor of the Rizal Memorial Sports Complex.
Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas Executive Director Sonny Barrios, together with Pilipinas Super League officials led by commissioner Marc Pingris, make up the two-part session that starts at 10 a.m.
Barrios will delve on the fifth window campaign of the Philippine men’s basketball team which saw Gilas complete a two-game sweep of its two road games in the Middle East for the FIBA World Cup Asian qualifiers.
The former PBA commissioner and SBP spokesperson is also going to give updates on the country’s preparations for next year’s World Cup.
Meanwhile, joining Pingris are PSL president Rocky Chan, basketball operations head Leo Isaac, and vice president Ray Alao as they talk about the coming second conference of the PSL pro division on Nov. 23 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
