After winning Man of the World 2019 in July, Bulgarian model Daniel Georgiev returned to pursue modeling in Manila.
“It’s really good to be back, I love Manila,” Georgiev enthused during a press conference held at Vikings Makati recently.
Georgiev is under contract with PEPPS Foundation, Inc., headed by Carlo Morris Galang, to fulfill his duties as the reigning Man of the World. He is also being launched by the Contact Network Group International as its official international brand ambassador.
“Daniel is the perfect symbol of our company and with Man of the World connections internationally, I believe this partnership will bring tremendous gains for both our brands,” said Emerilyn Suya, president of Contact Network International.
The 25-year-old heartthrob from the Balkans city of Sofia, has walked the runways of fashion capitals around the world for popular brands including Dolce and Gabbana. He works with the Independent Model Management, one of the most recognized and professional modeling agencies in Milan, Italy.
A graduate of the University of National and World Economy, Georgiev spends his free time playing football, his favorite sport.
“I am a fan of (the great Portuguese player) Cristiano Ronaldo,” said Georgiev who has a namesake in Montana midfielderDaniel Atanasov Georgiev.
Georgiev, who was called by his followers “Captain America” during the Man of the World pageant, said he admires actorDwayne Johnson. He has appeared in Bulgarian-produced movies in minor roles and has a contact with Universal Pictures.
Georgiev first competed in Manhunt International in 2012 in Thailand as an 18-year-old, but lost to the Philippines’ June Macasaet.

Three hundred aspiring models coming from across the country are competing to become the next JAMS Top Model Philippines 2019. These models have anticipated the training and preparations and have strutted their way to their dream to become JAMS’ next top models.
JAMS Top Model Philippines 2019 is looking for top models to represent their places’ tradition and culture through the use of the runway.
JAMS Top Model Philippines, presented by JAMS Artist Production, was founded by Maricar Moina and Jojo Flores. It has become a home to diverse pool of artists and was accredited by ABS-CBN since 2013.
A one of a kind competition catering to youth empowerment, it has three categories for ages 5 to 9, 10 to 15 and 16 to 25 who will be judged on poise and bearing, overall look, X-Factor and audience impact.
Prizes at stake are P500,000 for the grand winner for each category, P300,000 and P100,000 for the 1st and 2nd runners-up, respectively, on top of a modelling contract for the top 3.
JAMS Top Model 2018 winners include Liann Xndrah Gappi, Louise Cruz, Ancient Trinity Tabora, Maharlika Santos, Miguel Enrico Gochuico, Alecsa Julie Cang, and Shiena Fitzsimmons.
The JAMS Top Model Philippines 2019 will have its finals night at the Mall of Asia (MOA) Arena, Pasay City on Jan. 28 with guest performances from various popular artists.
