EJAP, MVP Group host forum on infrastructure

The Economic Journalists Association of the Philippines and the MVP Group of Companies are hosting a hybrid forum with the Marcos administration’s infrastructure team on Oct. 10 at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City.

The EJAP-MVP Group Infrastructure Forum, with the theme “The Road Ahead: Priorities for the Next 6 Years”, will discuss the administration’s near and medium-term plans to build and improve the country’s infrastructure, which is tagged as the economy’s backbone.

Information and Communications Technology Secretary Ivan John Uy will share initiatives on building the country’s digital infrastructure that will make government processes and services more efficient.

Transportation Secretary Jaime Bautista will discuss key projects for land, sea and air transportation sectors as the country returns to normal while Energy Secretary Raphael Perpetuo Lotilla’s speech will shed light on the agency’s efforts to power the economic recovery by encouraging more investments in the energy sector.Public-Private Partnership Center of the Philippines executive director Ma. Cynthia Hernandez will share insights on high-impact and sustainable infrastructure projects that aim to spread the economic growth to emerging cities and provinces.
