Bloomberry Resorts Corp. said Wednesday it topped off its second luxury integrated resort and hotel in Vertis North, Quezon City.
Bloomberry said in a statement Solaire Resort North “aims to capture and cater to the northern and eastern markets of Metro Manila and the National Capital Region”.
Solaire Resort North is Quezon City’s first 5-star destination built to promote the city’s tourism sector and local economy.
The property offers hotel, gaming, restaurants and bars, meeting facilities and retail spaces like its pioneer development, Solaire Resort & Casino in Entertainment City, in Paranaque City
Bloomberry earlier said it aimed to open the 40-story Solaire Resort North in 2023.
The company originally intended to complete the project in 2022, but its construction was delayed because of the lockdowns implemented in the past two years amid the pandemic.
The company’s flagship property, Solaire Resort & Casino, is a $1.2-billion integrated destination resort on an 8.3-hectare in Entertainment City.
Bloomberry said despite the impact of the pandemic on its business, it expanded its gaming operations. It reported plans to acquire a 2.797-million-square-meter property in Ternate, Cavite for P7.5 billion to be developed into a new integrated resort and casino complex with golf course, commercial and residential developments.
Bloomberry also reported plans to invest in two hotel and casino projects of businessman Dennis Uy.
Uy owns Emerald Bay Resort Hotel and Casino in Punta Engano, Lapu-Lapu City, Cebu, which is slated for completion early next year. He also owns The Base Resort Hotel and Casino in Clark, Pampanga, which is envisioned to be a premier adventure-themed integrated resort and casino.
