The local government of Caloocan City delivered assistance to 321 individuals affected by the fire in Barangay 120 who were temporarily staying at the San Pangcracio Parish Covered Court on Wednesday.
Mayor Along Malapitan personally distributed financial aid for each family affected by the fire.
The fire victims were also given a sleeping kit containing pillows and blankets, hygiene kits containing alcohol, a mask, tissue and soap, and food packs containing coffee, cereal, rice, and food cans.
The Caloocan City Social Welfare and Development Department (CCSWD) also continues to take care of the needs of the fire victims by preparing hot meals for them.
The city chief assured that the Caloocan city government will continue to support the fire victims so that they can gradually recover.
“I hope you can all use our little help to get started again, and whatever else you need, send it to your barangay captain and we will try to address it as best we can,” said the mayor.
Also in response to the request of the fire victims, they were allowed to spend an additional week in the evacuation facility so they have enough time to find a place to transfer to.
