LandBank, workers tackle issue on salary

The Land Bank of the Philippines assured members of the Land Bank of the Philippines Employees Association (LBPEA) that it will work with the relevant regulatory authorities to find solutions to the concerns raised by the group on the implementation of the Compensation and Position Classification System (CPCS).

LandBank said in a statement it would consolidate and evaluate all relevant items raised by employees and elevate them to the bank’s management and the board, and eventually to the Governance Commission for GOCCs (GCG) for reconsideration.

The implementation of the CPCS is envisioned as a competitive compensation and remuneration system to attract and retain talents, while allowing LandBank to become financially sound and sustainable.

The bank will implement the CPCS on employees following the issuance of an authority to implement by the GCG, in accordance with Executive Order No. 150 signed by President Rodrigo Duterte on October 1, 2021.
