Chef Tatung returns to Diamond Hotel and he’s back with a buffet spread that will boost your patriotism for the country’s rich cuisine.
With Independence Day coming up in a week, Diamond Hotel Philippines partnered with the “Star of All Seasonings” (as we jokingly called him during a lunch interview), Chef Tatung Sarthou, to honor and bring the spotlight to the archipelago’s culinary treasures.
For only P3,300 net per person, travel across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao with Diamond Hotel’s in-house restaurant, Corniche, as it brings back its annual Filipino food festival—Rediscover the Flavors of the Archipelago—starting June 6 until June 12, 2022 that will showcase dishes especially cooked by Chef Tatung, an award-winning celebrity chef, restaurateur, best-selling cookbook author, and well-known YouTuber.
First drop off in the menu will be the scrumptious appetizer dishes curated from the different provinces across the country, including hot starters like Dynamite Lumpia, Kinilaw na Tuna, and Sinuglaw.
Pako Salad, Guso Salad, and Pomelo Salad are also available as appetizers for those looking for some greens in their plates.
Warm yourselves this rainy season with soup options like Sinampalukang Manok, Papaitan, and Beef Hinalang.
All-you-can-eat aficionados can also look forward to the main courses offered in the buffet. There’s nothing that can stop you from eating Pansit Pusit and Bringhe of Luzon. Buckle up as you get to taste Visayas’ authentic Chicken Inasal and the tenderness of beef in Balbacua. Food enthusiasts can also try Mindanao dishes Pianggang and Kyuning.
The buffet will also highlight in its carving section the tender and juicy Lechon Belly Roll and Roast Beef Adobo from the islands of Luzon and Visayas, respectively.
A philosopher once said: There’s always room for desserts. And yes, we agree. Who can resist our all-time favorite Filipino desserts Leche Flan, Maja Blanca, Biko, Suman, Calamay, and Palitaw? Satisfy your sweet tooth and be familiarized with local delicacies like Tibok-Tibok, Torta Bisaya, and Paborot.
To cap off the whole course, Corniche offers a part of the dessert section where you can create your own style of Halo-Halo.
But you don’t just get to taste Chef Tatung’s food heritage masterpieces at Diamond Hotel, you will also have the chance to win roundtrip airline tickets for two via Cebu Pacific Air.
