GMA Network’s primetime offerings First Lady and False Positive continue to post impressive numbers ending another week of strong performance as more audiences tune in eager to find the latest development in the series’ respective plots.
Based on NUTAM People Ratings of Nielsen Philippines, on May 12, First Lady registered a TV rating of 15.4 percent compared to its rival Ang Probinsyano, which recorded 9.9 percent ratings on May 12.
Last week, we saw Melody (Sanya Lopez) running for president after her husband, Glenn Acosta (played by Gabby Concepcion), was hurt in an assassination plot orchestrated by Senator Allegra Trinidad (Isabel Rivas), Glenn’s rival in the presidential race.
False Positive, on the other hand, won in its timeslot producing 10.5 and 10.8 percent ratings on May 11 and 12, respectively.
The series, which premiered just this month, introduces Xian Lim’s character, Edward, as a pregnant husband.
Glaiza De Castro, who plays Edward’s wife Yannie, is the one pregnant in the beginning but things take a sudden turn when the newlyweds have a fight.
First Lady, directed by L.A. Madridejos, airs weeknights at 8:00 p.m., while False Positive, helmed by Irene Villamor, airs at 8:50.
