President Rodrigo Duterte formally endorsed the entire Aksyon at Malasakit Team led by mayoral candidate Along Malapitan at the PDP-Laban Rally on Tuesday in Barangay 173, Caloocan.
The President stressed his admiration for the service provided by the Malapitans for the people of Caloocan and his support for the continuation of a progressive city.
“Ang gusto ko sa mga Malapitan, madaling lapitan,” Duterte said in his speech in front of thousands of Caloocan residents who attended the rally.
The entire Aksyon at Malasakit party is grateful for this, especially the representative of the first district who is currently running for mayor, Along Malapitan.
“Noon pa man, hanga na tayo sa tapang at malasakit ni President Duterte. Malaking bahagi ng ating paglilingkod ang ating nakamit dahil sa pakikipagtulungan sa pamahalaang nasyonal,” said Malapitan.
“Ang pagsuportang ito ay nagpapatunay sa kakayanan ng mga kandidato sa ilalim ng Team Aksyon at Malasakit. Hindi ko po bibiguin ang aking nasasakupan sakaling sa akin po nila ibigay ang pribilehiyong maging alkalde ng Caloocan,” added the mayoral candidate.
In a short speech, incumbent Mayor Oscar “Oca” Malapitan also thanked the administration for its invaluable support, not only politically, but towards Caloocan’s continued rise from the pandemic.
“Hindi niyo po kami pinabayaan, maraming salamat po. Ang pagtitiwala ng PDP-Laban at ng ating pangulo ay tanda ng isa sa ating ipinaglalaban, ang maipagpatuloy ang ating nasimulan tungo sa pag-unlad ng mahal nating lungsod at bawat pamilya sa Caloocan,” said Mayor Oca.
