Malabon City District 2 Councilor Enzo Oreta is still leading the mayoralty survey against rival Jeannie Sandoval, a survey by the Philippine Survey and Research Center (PSRC) said.
The PSRC, an independent research agency, also said 58 percent of Malabonians back the younger brother of incumbent City Mayor Lenlen Oreta while 32 percent of the survey’s respondents voted for Sandoval and 10 percent are undecided.
Also, both re-electionists Vice Mayor Ninong Dela Cruz and Cong. Jaye Lacson-Noel top the survey for vice mayoral and congressional bid, bagging a total vote of 62 percent and 63 percent respectively.
Meanwhile, vice mayoral candidate Jayjay Yambao got 25 percent and congress bet Ricky Sandoval obtained 29 percent.
The privately-commissioned survey was conducted from February 25 to 28, 2022, of the registered voters of Malabon, aged 18 and above.
This is a face-to-face interview with 600 respondents and ± 4% margin error, at 95-percent confidence level.
