NCR cinemas remain operational amid Alert Level 3 — MTRCB

The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTCRB) has announced that cinemas and movie theaters in the National Capital Region (NCR) will remain operational amidst the change in the Alert Level Status from level 2 to 3, following the increase in COVID-19 cases.

On Friday, acting Palace spokesman Karlo Nograles said the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF) made the decision to place Metro Manila under the stricter Alert Level 3 from Jan. 3 to 15 to prevent further local transmission of the Omicron strain.

outdoor cinemas at 50 percent capacity), provided that all on-site employees/workers of the establishment are fully vaccinated against COVID-19:

“We appeal to the viewing public to be a  Responsableng Manonood  by  observing minimum public health standards, likewise, we encourage all to get vaccinated against the COVID-19 through your Local Government Units. Together, we shall make 2022 a healthier, safer, and prosperous year for everyone,” said Benjo Benaldo, MTRCB Executive Director II and Spokesperson
