Taguig City offers booster shots to non-residents

The Taguig City government continues its rollout for booster shots for all workers or employees even if they are not residents of the city.

Mayor Lino Edgardo Cayetano said to avail of the booster shots, employers must prepare a master list and an attestation of the accuracy and correctness of all declarations made, to be signed by an authorized representative of the business or company.

He added the focal person will be the one to coordinate with the Vaccination Task Force and send the master list to [email protected] and [email protected] with the subject: Company Name – Booster.

The worker must bring a valid ID, Trace QR, and proof of vaccination (Vaccine Card or Vaccine Certificate from VaxCertPh).

Fully vaccinated adults aged 18 years old or above in Taguig are also eligible to get their booster shot at least three months after they received their second dose of AstraZeneca, Moderna, Pfizer, Sinovac, or Sputnik vaccine, or at least two months after Janssen.

As of Dec. 29, the local government has already vaccinated 814,034 individuals or 93 percent of the city’s total population.

Of the number, 732,975 individuals or 84 percent of the total population have been fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

A total of 1,564,826 jabs have already been administered across Taguig’s vaccination hubs.

Mayor Cayetano said his administration consistently coordinates with the national government and ensures that a comprehensive vaccine portfolio is in place for a fast, safe and accessible vaccination
rollout in the city.

“Vaccination will continue until the last eligible Taguigeño gets protected,” the city chief executive said.
