The first two games of the series ended up being dominated by the victorious teams.

In Game 2 last Tuesday night, it was Meralco’s turn to emerge on top, carving a resounding 114-94 victory to even things up at 1-all.

Two-time Best Import Allen Durham went off, tallying a 44-point triple-double to lead the Bolts’ charge.

“It was a really good win to get. We played really well and we’re able to tie the series,” said Meralco coach Norman Black. “We hope to continue playing with such intensity on both ends.”

Meralco even took a 35-point lead in Game 2 at one point.

On the contrary, the Tropang Texters, unlike in the series opener, were unable to find their mark at all.

It shot an atrocious 8-of-40 from the field in the first half, leading to its downfall.

Meanwhile, Barangay Ginebra and NorthPort, also tied at 1-1, are also gunning for a crucial lead in their own semis clash as of this report.
