This corner features pets of animal lovers every week. We hope new owners and those thinking of getting a pet will be encouraged to be responsible “furparents” through these features. We also hope more people will be moved to be kind to animals when they read about the great relationship that can be created between humans and animals.

MISHA was rescued by Mike Langasan from the busy Shaw boulevard in Mandaluyong.
“She was maybe a week old then, searching for food in the trash. I got off my bike and snatched her before she can run to the middle of the busy road,” Mike recalls.
Mike brought her to the pet clinic where the vet said Misha assessed her. The vet declared her as healthy for a stray kitten. Mike had her dewormed and vaccinated as advised by the vet.
Today, the former stray kitten Misha is a well-loved and cared for furbaby of Mike and his family.
“She is a very possessive baby. It is not easy to leave her at home when I have to go to work. She loves being carried everywhere I go, “ Mike shares.
“Leaving her at home means a big argument with her when I get home. Hahaha!” Mike says.
Now seven months old, Misha is a playful kitten who loves cat food and fish.
“We eat our meals together,” says Mike.
