NLEX Corp. said it expects to complete the construction of the C3-R10 section of the NLEX Harbor Link Segment 10 by January 2020.
Metro Pacific Tollways Corp. president Rodrigo Franco said the construction of the 2.6-km road between C3 Road, Caloocan City and R10, Navotas City is expected to be completed by January next year, while the NLEX Segment 10 Malabon Exit Ramp is expected to open to the public by December this year.
The C3-R10 section is the extension of the all elevated 5.7-kilometer NLEX Harbor Link Segment 10 that originates in Karuhatan, Valenzuela City over Governor Pascual Avenue in Malabon City and Caloocan Interchange in 5th Avenue Caloocan City.
The NLEx Harbor Link Segment 10 was opened in February this year, improving the accessibility and connectivity between the key areas of Metro Manila and the northern provinces of Luzon via NLEx.
Traversing the cities of Valenzuela, Malabon and Caloocan, the 5.65-km, six-lane NLEx Harbor Link Segment 10 is seen to divert 30,000 vehicles daily away from the busy streets of Metro Manila. With the new road, travel time between C3 and NLEx will only take 5 minutes.
