The International Business Report shows that emerging markets in the Asia-Pacific region including the Philippines are holding up well.
It said that while optimism, revenue expectations and profitability forecasts went down around the globe in the first half from a year ago, there were pockets of resilience across mid-sized companies.
Economies such as the Philippines have rosier prospects with more companies in an upbeat mood than anywhere else in the region. About 84 percent of respondents in the Philippines are optimistic about the domestic economy.
