Villains take over the “happiest place on Earth” as Hong Kong Disneyland Resort celebrates Disney Halloween Time today (Oct. 29) until Oct. 31.
Villains from classic Disney stories steal the spotlight in all-new musical shows “Let’s Get Wicked” and “Jack Skellington’s Villainous Gathering.” Guests can also enjoy the “Journey to Halloween Town” trick-or-treat walkthrough experience and immerse themselves in classic scenes from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
The most feared Disney Villains star in “Let’s Get Wicked,” an all-new musical show at the Theater in the Wild in Adventureland, which will be transformed into a lair where evil thrives and villains unite. Five infamously evil Disney Villains: Ursula from The Little Mermaid, Cruella de Vil from 101 Dalmatians, Dr. Facilier from The Princess and the Frog, Gaston from Beauty and the Beast, and Mother Gothel from Tangled showcase their evil glory with villainous songs.
Meanwhile, “Jack Skellington’s Villainous Gathering,” held at the Castle Hub Stage, features Jack Skellington and Sally joining forces to perform with some of Disney’s formidable villains: The Evil Queen from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, Jafar from Aladdin, Maleficent from Sleeping Beauty, the Queen of Hearts from Alice in Wonderland, and Captain Hook from Peter Pan.
This Halloween, guests can once again go on a Journey to Halloween Town where they can re-live the classic scenes from Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas with immersive moments and all-new trick-or-treat activities added this year.
Those who want to see more of Jack should not miss the “Jack Skellington and Friends Halloween Time Character Greeting” to meet the Pumpkin King Jack and his frightful friends Sally and Oogie Boogie.
Disney Friends are also spreading wicked Halloween fun. Mickey and his beloved friends will appear in their Halloween costumes distributing candy, as well as singing and dancing at Mickey’s “Halloween Time Street Party.” Vampirina will also be making her debut this Halloween, spooking guests at The Annex.
Meet both Disney Friends and Villains at the “Halloween Time Festival Gardens” in Fantasyland throughout the day, where Winnie the Pooh and his friends will also appear in special Halloween costumes. At night, Maleficent, Hades, Captain Hook, Queen of Hearts, Cruella de Vil, and Frollo take over the gardens. Guests can also enjoy face painting and other activities at the Disney trick-or-treat booths.
