The W Group and Auto Nation Group return as among the chief backers of the Highlands Ladies Cup, which braces for its grand 14th staging on Oct. 5 at Tagaytay Midlands Golf Club.
The W Group, the holding company of one of the country’s top business groups in food ingredient, real estate and investment industries, and Auto Nation Group, Inc., the exclusive distributor of Mercedes-Benz in the country, head a mix of supporters as Diamond sponsors of the 18-hole tournament which features some of the country’s top golfing lady executives and corporate bigwigs.

Security Bank is also back as Platinum sponsor, IMG as Gold backer, and PLDT SME, Regent Travel, Sha-Wrap, and New Golden City Builders make up the Silver sponsors and Wee Community Developers, Inc., Asia Brewery, SL Agritech Corp., Burlington Socks, H&E, Parola Maritime Agency, Champion, Orocan, Concrete Masters, Kawsek, Inc. and Wenger Watchers head the Bronze list with Erlinda Gamut as one of the donors.
Like in all its previous editions, the tournament will have a shotgun start at 8 a.m. with around 200 players expected to see action, according to organizing Tagaytay Highlands Ladies Chapter headed by tournament co-chairs Dionne Cu and Connie Mamaril.
Aside from the centerpiece ladies division, other titles to be disputed under the System 36 scoring format are the men’s Classes A, B and C and seniors category.
As part of THLC’s social commitment, the tournament also serves as a fund-raiser as part of its proceeds will go to the Sisters of Mary Boys & Girls Town Complex in Silang, Cavite.
