GMA Network has introduced a new set of powerhouse performers who now form the latest girl group that is set to spice up the already vibrant local music scene.
Composed of Riel, Dani, Lyra, and Mel, collectively known as XOXO, they were selected after a series of workshops. They also happen to be part of the program by the network, The Clash, which has already become a source of fresh and up-and-coming music talents.
Young, dynamic and raring to show what they’ve got, the group can take you way up high with their chandelier breaking vocals but can get you dancing as well with the latest R&B hits. These promising artists combine talent and edgy personalities, with such irresistible harmony to its audience.
“We have different musical styles and influences, and that what makes us unique. And despite our differences in terms of preference and background, when we perform, when we sing, we give our music a different flavor. We complement each other’s style,” a member of the group told the press during their media launch.
Riel, who hails from Cagayan de Oro, has come a long way after the competition. She will showcase her superb vocals and strong yet lovable personality as XOXO’s “The Diva.”
A proud Cebuana, Dani is “Fierce and Sexy.” Her sultry looks and grooves will surely take your breath away.
Meanwhile, Lyra will make her presence known as the “Tough Girl.” This Davaoeña is set to bring her graceful attitude to the group with every sizzling performance.
Mel will be the soul of the group as the “Sweet Girl.” She will make her hometown Bulacan proud as she will pour her heart and soul out in each performance.
XOXO is set to release its own single soon under GMA Music. Make sure to catch their grand launch this tonight at 10:00 on GMA’s Studio 7.
