On March 9-10, all roads lead to the Filinvest City Open Grounds in Alabang as Globe Telecom and Karpos Multimedia once again stage the much-awaited music and arts festival Wanderland.
Wonder what sets Wanderland apart from other music festivals?
A great set of music by local and international talent
This festival always showcases a unique set of performers every year. This year, the Wanderland community gears up for another great set as both local and international acts make their respective debuts with some returning to the Wanderland stage. International talents including indie rock bands Two Door Cinema Club and The Kooks, Jamaican-American rapper Masego, British EDM artist SG Lewis, and electronic duo Honne along with homegrown acts such as Sandwich, Unique, Reese Lansangan, and Clara Benin will grace the stage.
Awe-inspiring live art installations
Apart from the rich musical experience, expect more inspiration as local street artists unleash their creative talents through world-class live art installations and graffiti. Wanderartist winners Venazir Martinez, Frances Dandan, Raco Ruiz, and Josh Panaligan are set to perform live art.
Eye-catching festival fashion
Wanderland has become not just a showcase of premier talents but also an annual avenue for eye-catching festival fashion. Expect to see the Wanderland community from all walks of life express themselves with their own preferred fashion styles such as floral, hippie, and hypebeast streetwear style.
Wide selection of exciting booths and activities
At Wanderland Jungle 2017, festival-goers enjoyed getting glitter tattoos of different animals and designs, making their own postcards and stickers, and even wall climbing. During Wanderland Pixels 2018, there was an Art Market, Arcade, F21’s Pixel Playhouse, and Hope’s Up-cycling booth. With this year’s Magic theme, the festival promises another interesting set of exciting booths and activities.
