Jevoy Moreno of JAF Racing Team bagged the overall and front wheel best time of the day as the RACE Motorsports Club finally came back to Baguio after more than two decades to hold the 10th leg of the Phoenix Pulse Technology National Slalom Series.
Moreno defeated his rivals Milo Rivera, Inigo Anton and Richard Gallardo with a clocking of 37.94.
Anton of Mark Young Cars placed runner-up with a 38.08, followed by Rivera of the Tough Gear Racing Team with 38.22.
Gallardo of JAF Racing Team was next with 39.27, his teammate Vegil Calayo followed with 39.73, with Powee Base of PMMS Rennsport Racing Team finishing sixth with 39.99.
Rivera, however, bagged the Rear Wheel Production best time of the day, while Moreno clinched the Front Wheel best time, followed by Anton, Gallardo, Calayo and Base.
Calayo ruled the novice best time of the day over Base and Ram Rafanan of Speedjav Racing Team.
The 2018 RACE Motorsports Club Phoenix Pulse Technology National Slalom Series with enhanced power and acceleration is also supported by major sponsors Federal Tyres, 3K Batteries, New SR KYB Special Shock Absorbers and the City of Baguio. The event was participated in by Tough Gear Racing Team, PMMS Rennsports, RODLEA Racing Team, JAF Racing Team, Mark Young Race Cars, Speedjav Racing Team, Gadzspeed Racing Team and Mel Torres Racing Team.
The 11th leg will be held on Nov. 18 at the Robinsons Starmills in Pampanga, where double points will be awarded to the winners until the 12th leg. Practice runs will be from 7 to 10 a.m., with one practice run each driver. Official runs will start right after the mass at 11 a.m.
