As part of its 19th year celebration, Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI) will hold the “Admit One, Educate All: A Gift of Knowledge Fundraising Event” movie block screening at 4:20 p.m., Nov. 18 at Power Plant Mall Cinema 7 in Rockwell, Makati.
The movie block screening will feature the sequel to JK Rowling’s Harry Potter book spin-off entitled, Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Doors open at 4:00 p.m. with a program and raffle that will begin at 4:20 p.m.. The movie will start at 4:30 p.m. and movie tickets are available for P750.
Proceeds will go to the Gift of Knowledge packages to public schools. Each package includes a 40-inch television, external speakers, and one of the following: a portable media library (external hard drive with more than 1,000 Knowledge Channel videos and other learning resources) or SkyCable’s SkyDirect satellite kit or an ABS-CBN TV Plus digital box.
Since 1999, over 5,000,000 Filipino children in more than 7,000 public schools have been reached by KCFI’s multimedia learning resource. More public schools will be reached through the fundraising event.
