Bureau of Corrections Officer 1 Justine Arvie Lopez (79) hopes to lead the DOJ Justice Boosters to their second win against PITC Global Traders in the UNTV Cup on Sunday.

Bannered by former Letran star Boyet Bautista, Jerry Lumongsod, Jeffrey Quiambao and Darwin Cordero, the AFP Cavaliers are heavily favored over GSIS in their 5 p.m. duel in Group A elims.

For the Furies to improve their 1-3 record, they should contain the wily Bautista, who has already piled up 58 points and 11 assists in three games in the event organized by UNTV president and CEO Dr. Daniel Razon,

One thing going for the Cavaliers is that the Furies are still smarting from a 94-61 beating at the hands of the PITC Global Traders.

Though the Judiciary Magis have dropped their first three games, they remain confident in their 2 p.m. showdown with the Ombudsman GraftBusters in Group B action.

Out to lead the Magis are former PBA players Chester Tolomia and Warren Ybanez and Supreme Court Administrator Jose Midas Marquez.

Tolomia is averaging 22 points a game, but the absence of former UST star Don Camaso weighed heavily for the two-time champions in the annual tournament for public servants.

The Global Traders hope to notch their second straight win in five games when they tackle the Justice Boosters at 3:30 p.m. in the event offering P4 million to the chosen charity of the champion team.

Group A: AFP (3-0), Senate (3-1), DOJ (1-1), PNP (2-2), GSIS (1-3), PITC (1-3).

Group B: NHA (3-0), DA (3-1), Malacañang-PSC (2-1), PhilHealth (2-2), Judiciary (0-3), Ombudsman (0-3).
