After captivating Kapuso viewers in Lakorn remake of Princess Hours, Thai actor Sattaphong “Tao” Phiangphor flew to Manila for the first time to personally meet his Filipino fans last week.
Known for his role as the crown prince “Prince Ian” in the Thai series, Tao felt easily at home because of the warm welcome of his Filipino admirers.
“I was so excited to meet my fans here in the Philippines. I didn’t expect that a lot would come to the airport and at the fan meeting. They are so warm to me. I love the food and people,” he shared.
During his visit at GMA Network on Sept. 24, the Thai heartthrob also expressed his gladness and gratitude for the warm reception of Lakorn from Filipino viewers, particularly of his show Princess Hours.
“Lakorn is good, funny and light. We want them to know more about Thai culture, Thai character and Thailand, so everyone can connect more together.”
Tao is looking forward to come back again and bond with his Pinoy fans. He also shared that he is open to work with Filipino celebrities.
“I think it could happen if there is an opportunity. I want to challenge myself too.”
