Local officials of Southern Luzon join the top brass of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry in rallying businessmen to seek new growth opportunities at the 27th South Luzon Area Business Conference (SOLAB) at The Oriental Legazpi Hotel in Legazpi, Albay. Hosted by the Albay Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the event drew PCCI president Ma. Alegria “Bing” Sibal- Limjoco (front row, 3rd from left); PCCI past president Samie Lim (2nd from left), who is also PCCI director for Tourism; PCCI vice president for South Luzon Teresita Leabres; PCCI vice president for Mindanao Merlou Quisumbing; PCCI Region 4 governor Juan Martin Barredo; PCCI Region 5 governor Clarine Tobias; Albay Chamber president Rosemarie Quinto Rey; PCCI chapter presidents of Southern Luzon; National Competitiveness Council former co-chairman Guillermo Luz; and other PCCI officials. They led the two-day conference with Albay Gov. Al Francis Bichara, Albay 2nd District Rep. Joey Salceda, and Legazpi City Mayor Noel Rosal.
