Globe Business has recently presented new information and communications technology (ICT) tools and solutions to help leading enterprises in the country towards digitalization.
In an event held June 19 at the Isla Ballroom of EDSA Shangri-la Hotel, “Breakthrough with Globe Business Solutions” showcased booths of Globe’s partners to key clients in achieving Cloud and Cybersecurity innovations.
Stations present included GoCanvas, Amazon Web Service, Trustwave, GSuite, Globe Labs, GCash, and Rush. Each partner had the opportunity to talk about the services they offer.
Globe executives Ms. Pebbles Sy-Manalang, Chief Information Officer; Mr. Gil Genio, Chief Technology, and Information Officer; Peter Maquera, Senior Vice President for Globe Enterprise Group; and Chief Commercial Officer Albert de Larrazabal, discussed how companies can overcome corporate and technological challenges with the help of their partners.
While Peter Sharples, Asia Pacific head of Major Initiatives for Channels and Alliances for Amazon Web Services, and Partner Solutions Architect for AWS Market Place and APAC Service Catalog, Vjay Rangarajan, demonstrated the speed and power of Amazon Web Service (AWS) Catalog.
The Amazon Web Service Catalog allows the enterprises to build their own business environment. It also features templates for a database of the web platform. Furthermore, Globe is the first telecommunications company to offer the AWS catalog.
G Suite and GoCanvas were among the cloud-based applications that comes with the AWS.
When it comes to cybersecurity, Globe has also pioneered in giving quality and secure data protection for enterprises, through the first and only Federated Advanced Security Operations Center (ASOC) in the country, which offers customer service platforms, threat detection, threat hunting and incident response for its own network and the network of its customers.
The Globe Federated ASOC is linked to Trustwave’s global network of nine ASOCs from around the world allowing Globe to follow the threat where and when it happens and deliver proactive security services.
