MKCS Global and ABS-CBN have started doing business in 2011. Since then, the two have been partners in providing quality Filipino content to Burmese audiences. Some ABS-CBN dramas that already aired in Myanmar were Born For You, Broken Vows, Brothers season 1, Be My Lady, and All of Me.

POWER COUPLE. Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo’s ‘La Luna Sangre’ and ‘She’s Dating the Gangster’ will soon be seen by global audience.

Meanwhile, aside from She’s Dating the Gangster, other Star Cinema movies namely Unexpectedly Yours, Four Sisters and a Wedding, Bride for Rent, Always Be My Maybe, and Extra Service will be available throughout Latin America, as well as the United States and Canada, via their cable, satellite, and IPTV services with ABS-CBN’s deal with Cinelatino.

“We are certainly proud of this win early on this year and our goal will always be to continuously provide high-caliber programs and movies with cast and storylines that appeal to various cultures. We are certain that this will also boost our continuing efforts to introduce new talents to the global stage.” said Macie Imperial, ABS-CBN’s VP for Integrated Acquisitions and International Sales and Distribution.

Championing the business of storytelling for 65 years, ABS-CBN has succeeded in growing its international business and has now sold over 40,000 hours of content worldwide.

“With the success of our dramas, we are very optimistic that we can penetrate more markets that have not been previously tapped,” added Imperial.
