Ex-Marcos lawyer Lozano, 78, passes away

Oliver Lozano, the former lawyer of the late President Ferdinand Marcos, has passed away Thursday morning.

Lozano, 78, succumbed to cardiac arrest. His remains was immediately cremated.

Lozano is survived by his wife Norma, three children and six grandchildren.

According to Mrs. Lozano, the veteran lawyer was rushed to a hospital in March and was able to recover from heart attack.

He was taken again to the hospital due to chest pains on Wednesday, but passed away early Thursday morning.

Lozano was a Marcos loyalist who served as the late president’s lawyer.

His wake will be held at the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church in Quezon City before his burial tomorrow.

Lozano earned his degree in Bachelor of Arts and Law at the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City.
