This corner features pets of animal lovers every week. We hope new owners and those thinking of getting a pet will be encouraged to be responsible “furparents” through these features. We also hope more people will be moved to be kind to animals when they read about the great relationship that can be created between humans and animals.

BUFFY, fondly called Tush by Mommy Marie Jamie Rellosa Angeles, is turning 10 months old this April.
Jamie says Buffy is a mixed breed: a beagle and a shih tzu.
Buffy’s first parents can not take care of her anymore because of a heath issue, thus, Buffy was given to Jamie.
Today, she is one spoiled girl in the pack.
AMBO was rescued by a good Samaritan from the streets as a motherless kitten.
The rescuer’s sister fostered Ambo for a while, then posted her photo to look for a furever home for him.
Maureen Gaddi Dela Cruz saw Ambo’s photo and “my heart melted and I decided to adopt Ambo”
Maureen shares: “Ambo proved to be a perfect fit for our family. We were grieving the loss of our beloved cat several months before Ambo came into our lives.”
Ambo was originally named Amber by his foster mom, but “she got a big surprise when she brought Ambo to the vet to be spayed and the cat turned out to be a boy!” Maureen recounts.
