Where to watch movies in Boracay

Sure, you can watch a film on your tablet or laptop or mobile phone anywhere you are today, but it can’t be argued that seeing a motion picture in a cinema is a different experience altogether. But sadly for the residents in Boracay, they had to leave the island by boat and travel for hours just to watch a movie on the big screen.

The cinema at CityMall-Boracay has two theaters that can seat 220 guests. It features state-of-the-art projection and sound system comparable to cinema houses in metropolitan areas.

It was launched in partnership with ABS-CBN Corp., and is one of the many cinemas that CityMall is progressively rolling out in its branches across the country, including theaters at CityMall-Anabu in Imus, Cavite; CityMall-Consolacion in Cebu; CityMall-Dumaguete; and CityMall-Mandalagan in Bacolod, all of which are already in operation.
