135 farmers finish ‘Kabalikat’ training in Cagayan de Oro

CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY—Participants in the Kabalikat sa Kabuhayan Farmers’ Training Program Batch 154 recently finished their training in Barangay Balubal here.

About 135 participants graduated from the 12-week program run by Harbest Agribusiness Field Instructor Celes Alla.

The participants were farmers and 4Ps beneficiaries from the city’s barangays Balubal, Puerto, Bugo, Indahag, and Tablon. Their graduation ceremony was held at SM CDO Downtown Premier.

Guests who attended the Harvest Festival and graduation ceremonies were Virgilio Deriquito, Agriculturist II of the City Agriculture office; Dr. Hector San Juan, City Agriculture Office Head; Teddy Sabuga-a, City Social Welfare Department Head; Jeffrey Ojeda, PDO II SLP of the Department of Social Welfare and Development Region 10 office;

Hazel Yap, SM Downtown Premier Asst. Mall Manager; Rosita Rico, SM CDO Supermarket Store Manager; Ivy Guantero, PR Manager; and Cristie Angeles, AVP for Outreach, SM Foundation. Sheryl Macale hosted the event.
