GMA G.I.V.E.S (Guide, Interact, Volunteer, Educate, Serve), GMA Network’s corps of employee-volunteers, extended a helping hand on Dec. 9 to the soldiers who fought in Marawi City, living up to the message of GMA’s Christmas tagline, “Buong pusong maGMAhalan ngayong Pasko.”
Together with GMA Kapuso Foundation and GMA News and Public Affairs, the volunteers gathered at V. Luna General Hospital in Quezon City to pay homage to the nation’s heroes. They also distributed food, gift packs and noche buena packages for the soldiers and their families
Highlighting the event were GMA Artist Center talents including Addy Raj, Hannah Precillas, Super Tekla, and Nar Cabico who performed in a program. Sang while Raj showed proficiency in the Filipino language as he sang two OPM songs. Cabico performed an energetic number through the song, “Gaga.” And finally, Super Tekla brought the house down.
