Shop, dine and bask in the homey vibe of Blue Bay walk

It’s quite a challenge to find open spaces and laidback places to shop, dine or enjoy leisure time with loved ones in Metro Manila. This is especially evident as we usher in the Christmas season, when every nook and cranny of malls, as well as the roads that lead to them, become jam-packed.

At the gateway to the bustling Bay Area in Pasay City lies Blue Bay Walk, an idyllic lifestyle hub distinguished by wide open areas as well as a cluster of shops, restaurants, parks, and activity centers ideal for families and groups of friends looking to cherish quality time together. It is the heart of Federal Land Inc.’s Metro Park, a sprawling 40-hectare master-planned township comprised of residential, commercial, and office developments such as the SixSenses Residences, Bay Garden Club and Residences, MET LIVE, and iMet Office Tower.

Blue Bay Walk was designed by Federal Land to cater to the recreational needs of the Metro Park community. Residents, office workers, students from nearby schools and even guests from outside the Metro Park community frequent Blue Bay Walk to bask in its homey vibe. Unlike the usual mall, it is one of the few places in the Metro where one can lay out a mat to enjoy an after-work picnic, let toddlers romp freely, bike along spacious pathways, relish culinary fests, and engage in a myriad of other activities.

Recently, Blue Bay Walk treated regulars to a free concert featuring the popular OPM band, Up Dharma Down.  It also served as the venue for the Guardians of the Fur Run for Strays, which brought together a community of pet lovers running for stray dogs and cats. On Halloween, Blue Bay Walk created the Copy Cat escape room experience where thrill seekers got locked inside a pseudo crime scene and raced to solve the case in 20 minutes. Meanwhile, kids in the cutest costumes joined the spooky games and went Trick or Treating.

As part of its Christmas activities, Blue Bay Walk presents the “Search for The Best Carolling Group,” a Christmas caroling contest that promises P30,000.00 cash prize to the finest carolers in town. Beautiful melodies and holiday cheers fill the air as the competition’s elimination rounds started in November and ended on Dec. 9. The Grand finals will be on Dec. 25.
