Volkswagen Philippines, the exclusive importer and distributor of the leading European car brand in the country in 2016, now offers the versatile, safe and powerful New Caddy multipurpose vehicle (MPV).
The New Caddy is available in two variants: Comfortline (CL) and Sportline (SL). Both are equipped with a 1.6-liter turbo-charged direct injection (TDI) diesel engine mated to a 7-speed direct shift gear (DSG) transmission that generates maximum power of 102 PS and maximum torque of 250 Nm, more than enough to efficiently transport cargo and passengers in its 7-seater configuration.
The New Caddy is considered the ideal MPV for families for its flexible seating configuration as well as its generous cargo space, while optimizing safety features such as front, side and curtain airbags, Hill Hold Control, flat tire indicator, electronic engine immobilizer, among others.
Cruise Control, touchscreen audio with 6-speaker system and Bluetooth connectivity, leather steering, front fog lights, exterior mirror auto fold, are standard in both CL and SL variants, while the 17-inch “Madrid” alloy wheels Fontana Red Surface, driver alert system, body-colored protective side moldings with chrome inserts, smoked rear lamp cover, and, silver roof rails are special features of the SL variant.
Available exterior colors are Candy White, Deep Black Pearl (CL only), Chestnut Brown (CL only) and Fortuna Red (SL only) while the SRP are P1,430,000 and P1,480,000, for CL and SL, respectively.
