We saw James Reid and Nadine Lustre focused on their music career this year, but in 2018, the Kapamilya stars and Viva Artists talents popularly known as the JaDine loveteam will be back on the boob tube to spice up primetime viewing.
Fans of James and Nadine have been active on social media in the past few weeks following the announcement about their latest big screen project early in November. And now, Dreamscape has just announced that the couple is also gearing up for their small screen comeback — a new television drama that die-hard JaDine followers can look forward to next year.
On Instagram, ABS-CBN executive Roldeo Endrinal, also the head of Dreamscape’s drama unit, shared a photo of the popular pair with director Dan Villegas, and said that 2018 will be “magical.”
No other details about the upcoming television series were revealed, but fans couldn’t help but feel giddy about the love team’s return on the small screen.
Team Real was last seen in Till I Met You, which concluded in January. Since then, the couple has been focusing on their other showbiz commitments such as joining the It’s Showtime as regular cohosts. James went on promoting his record his solo album, Palm Dream, which gave him the ticket to be nominated at the MTV EMA Favorite Southeast Asian Act category and eventually win the coveted award.
James and Nadine are currently filming their new movie, which has the working title Five Years Later. It is said to be about a love story between a barrio lass and a graphic designer. The movie is directed by Antoinette Jadaone, who also helmed JaDine’s toprating series, On the Wings of Love, and Till I Met You.
