Abella was appointed on October 27, but his papers only came out Thursday.
Prior to serving as presidential spokesperson, Abella was a businessman, writer, and former evangelist.
President Rodrigo Duterte had been tightlipped about his decision to replace Abella with law professor Harry Roque as his mouthpiece, only saying it was a “personal decision.”
