UNIVERSITY of the East coach Derrick Pumaren has reportedly tendered his courtesy resignation to Warriors.
His courtesy resignation came more than a week after the Red Warriors finished Season 93 of the University Athletic Association of the Philippines’ men’s basketball tournament with a 3-11 win-loss record.

Pumaren is reportedly still finding out the direction that UE officials want with their program before he enters into renewed talks over returning to his former position.
The Warriors had a 12-30 record during Pumaren’s watch.
Under Pumaren, the Warriors reached the Final Four in his first season.
