TOUGH Gear Racing’s Milo Rivera continued his domination of the RACE Motorsports Club’s 2017 Phoenix National Slalom Series by going a perfect 10 wins during the 10th leg of the series at the Robinsons Novaliches.
Rivera bagged the overall and production best time with his 10th straight win and a time of 54.48, followed by his teammate/brother Estefano Rivera with 54.62.
Placing third was 13-year-old Inigo Anton of Mark Young Racing Team with 55.64, with Paul Santos (56.46) of Team Big Chill and Powee Base (57.38) from the PMMS Rennsport Racing Team placing fourth and fifth, respectively.
The 10th leg marked the start of the double points’ system in the series.
Meanwhile, Anton brought home the Front Wheel and the novice best time of 55.64, followed by Base with 57.38 and Vegil Calayo of JAF Racing Team with 57.54.
The 2017 RACE Motorsports Club National Slalom Series is presented by Phoenix Premium 98 and Phoenix Accelerate Fully Synthetic Oil, with major sponsors Federal Tyres and Outlast Battery. It is also backed by Starbright Body Kits, Auto Transporter, Cars Unlimited Auto Sales Fairview, Mark Young Cars, media partners Stoplight TV, C! The event was participated in by JAF Racing Team, Tough Gear Racing Team, Parts Pro Autofastion Racing Team, Kajega Racing Team, Mark Young Cars, Rod and Lea Racing Team and Rotary Team.
The 2017 remaining legs for the year are on Nov. 12 at the Tarlac Circuit Hill and Dec. 10 at Robinsons Starmills Pampanga, with the the Slalom Invitational set on Oct. 8 at Robinsons Calasiao Pangasinan.
