Numerous coaching clinics and seminars were conducted in the northern Luzon provinces of Abra, Kalinga, Ifugao and Isabela.

So far, many teachers from the public schools turned up and showed interest.

Around 200 took pary in Kalinga, validating the  need to push for the scientific method of training student athletes.

Ramirez said with the clinics and seminar, a talent search for athletes below 18 years old can begin.

All four provinces are  currently preparing their athletes to join a provincial meet this October and a regional meet in February.

The coming 2018 Palarong Pambansa is among the national meets that they are preparing for.

More seminars and clinics are set to be held this week in the provinces of Quirino and Quezon.
